By gods, I just had one of the most intense, beautiful, head-spinning epiphanies ever. It is beyond words, and yet, it will all be about words. I wonder if I can pull this off, this precious, joy-numbing project, when I have so many other things that need to be done… but this, this must be done, absolutely.

That interesting moment...
… when you hear your neighbour happily whistling (through paper-thick walls it seems).

Three decades ago and my knees were granite, roadmaps of bruises, yellow and purple remnants of my meetings with the floor. They held no secrets, those colours - I could look at them for hours and see the next destination so clearly, as definite as if it could pop out at any time, teleported through little bursts of laughter and scribbles of fingers in gravel, and suddenly nothing smelled...

Wore silver globe earrings to the celebration; allowed myself to walk over sponge marbles and wool carpets before stepping into the wooden floor again. Everything should have the scent of the sea, I conceive, however there is humus too, and dry leaves upon ancient books, and moss between the cracks. And I twirl and I twirl, only to inhale the same smells, and I ponder. Having deciphered the...

An excerpt of my NaNoWriMo novel which was lost to the black abysses of Windows/DOS (this particular piece of writing recovered due to the bottomless yet secure pits of the Internet):
So she hadn’t called her mother. Thank the gods for that. She had to begin with that. Reba still screamed for a longer while, but it wasn’t that long before she decided she would give Eleanor a chance to explain...

Hush, the sound of fabric sliding upon the steps, a ring made of platinum and incrusted diamonds falling from a too-slender finger and into the stone, engulfed. You have to be careful and pay close attention when climbing the stairs, otherwise you’ll end up on a meadow of daisies, speaking to a girl with grass for eyelashes who will hand you freshly-picked berries whenever you ask for...
